When my daughter was 5, I came across a 300 piece Ravensburger puzzle at a thrift store. It was a collage of 12 months of the year in whimsical folk art. Most of the scenery had European influence and I was immediately inspired to create a Banff series. In 2017, began the project of recreating a calendar year. The original artwork reflects the seasons of living and visiting the National Park.
