Acrylic Paints
This workshop explores basic rules of composition for designing landscape paintings. You'll find the information also relative for photography and can be used for a variety of mediums like acrylics, oil, watercolours and sketching. Students are guided to create small studies that highlight some of the key features of composition. 
This workshop is recorded for participants to download after our live session.
  • Primed & Ready to use Canvas Pad/Sheets  9x12 or 11x14 (Alternatively if you have small old canvases you'd like to reuse, paint 1 or 2 coats of white gesso over top of your image. Make sure its dry before class).
  • Acrylic paints - Black, White, Yellow Ochre  
Painting Brushes
  • Synthetic Paint Brushes (these are suggested sizes if you don't have the exact one use something similar): Flat Brush 1/2",  Round detail size 2 or 4, Angled size 6 
  • Flat workspace 
  • Water Glass
  • HB or 2HB pencil for note taking on canvas
  • Rag for cleaning brushes in between coats
  • Palette or plate 
How ONLINE Classes work
To access the Online Platform you'll have to download ZOOM.US app to your phone, iPad, or computer. This is a FREE app and you only need the basic package.
(You'll see it says 40mins max. however that is if you were to host. So you'll still be able to join me for 2hr without an upgrade)

When you join the class, be sure to turn your microphone + video ON so I can make sure you can see & hear me. Once we get started you can change your video screen to face your canvas. If you prefer to mute your mic after this you can.
